Are there ways for me to improve my health alongside homeopathy? When is the time to do this?

I hear this question often, and the general answer is “yes.” Sometimes there are caveats, as there can be with all things.


Two key questions to ask yourself when you are considering some ways to improve your health alongside your homeopathic remedy might be:


Do I have the bandwidth to add something else in, or do I need to wait until I have more energy to address this? Sometimes clients come to me and are so worn out, they cannot add one more thing to their “to-do” list to improve their health, or they are physically unable to change their lifestyle habits due to symptoms that might be debilitating, and it does not make sense to try to tackle everything at once. Starting with their remedy helps them improve in energy and decrease pain, and they may find they are able to focus on other things that could be improved.


What “low-hanging” fruit can I address in simple ways? This is always a great place to start. These would be things like incorporating more fruits and veggies to your diet, choosing more whole foods, perhaps eating out less often, drinking water throughout the day, or other easily accessible additions.


There are so many variables to consider when thinking of ways to improve your health alongside taking your homeopathic remedy; one key takeaway to remember, though, is that your body will work at its own pace and as you start to feel better and sleep better, incoporating the healthy choices becomes simpler than you might think.


It is not uncommon for my clients to realize they enjoy cooking fresh dinners or taking walks or trying a new exercise for the first time; but this did not happen on Day 1. This happened a few months down the road once their body had shifted and gone through some healing. It can be a difficult burden to pursue healthy living when you just don’t feel well or suffer from chronic pain or allergies or anything else.


So, yes, there are definitely options for improving your health alongside taking your homeopathic remedy; however, you will know when the right time is to begin!
