What do I look for in a qualified homeopathic practitioner?

Updated: Nov 24

Have you wondered how you find the "right" homeopathic practitioner? It can be confusing to wade through all the information if this is what you are looking for.

Homeopaths have the opportunity for exceptional training and qualification in their field. The top categories I recommend looking for are:

👉 Certification and Licensure as part of the top standards in homeopathic industry practice

👉 Training from an ACHENA-accredited school for homeopathy

👉 Training that includes live clinical hours and working with clients

👉 Educational training according to Dr. Hahnemann's principles as shown in The Organon of the Medical Art (Hahnemannian Classical Homeopathy)

As a graduate from the Academy of Homeopathy Education, I am very thankful for the education that prepared me for certification and licensure in the field of homeopathy. The Academy of Homeopathy Education is not only ACHENA accredited, but they also offer a robust program of over 1000 hours, with at least 500 hours of live clinical training and working with clients. Their educational program prepares each homeopathic practitioner to sit for board certification and apply for homeopathic licensure.

I have now received both my certification through North American Homeopathy Examiners and my licensure through Arizona Homeopathic and Integrated Medicine Examiners to meet the highest industry standards. As a certified and licensed practitioner, I offer safe, gentle, and effective care and case management for each client, which will meet their particular needs.

As I have outlined in other blog entries, homeopathy is not a "one-size-fits-all" approach; therefore, the training in the highest industry standards as upheld by ACHENA, the accreditation body for schools of homeopathy, is extremely important. This training allows me, as the practitioner, to make decisions in case management according to the principles of homeopathy as outlined by Dr. Hahnemann. This training includes understanding special situations, when to make referrals, and how to work through the most challenging of symptoms that keep the client at the center of the homeopathic conversation.
