What does the follow-up appointment look like?

The follow-up appointment is typically shorter than the initial consultation. In my practice, it looks like 30-45 minutes to hear what is going on for you.
I am interested to hear what is the same, what has changed, and anything that is new or different in your symptoms.
The follow-up appointments are where "the rubber hits the road" because I can see how the remedy is working for you, and the trajectory of your symptoms. This allows me to chart your health journey accurately, and we can then make any changes to how your are taking your remedy.
Sometimes, the symptom picture may change after a few follow-up visits - some symptoms may have resolved, while some older symptoms resurface. This does not always occur, but it can, and the next most appropriate homeopathic remedy is indicated. The follow-up appointments provide important information on the timing of your remedy, when to move to another potency, or when it may be time to switch a remedy, or if we need to wait and re-evaluate symptoms before continuing with the remedy.
This is my favorite part of being a homeopath because I get to see you feel relief in “real time” as you are getting better.
